Feature Film: Troy

Terova is an Iranian historical drama and political thriller set in the early 1980s, during the Iran–Iraq War. Against a backdrop of political unrest, terrorist attacks, and escalating tensions, the film explores how the turbulent events of the era affect the lives and destinies of ordinary people.

Mohammad, a young man passionate about television presenting and broadcasting, has spent years pursuing his dream of becoming a television host. After a long period of anticipation, he finally gets the opportunity to make his first appearance on national television, introducing an episode of the popular Japanese television series Oshin. Meanwhile, his twin brother, Hamed, serves as an intelligence operations officer on the front lines of the Iran–Iraq War.

However, just as Mohammad is about to fulfill his lifelong ambition, the arrival of Bahador, a member of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK), dramatically changes the course of his life. A terrorist operation intertwines the fate of the two brothers with the political and security crises of the period, unfolding a story of shattered dreams, violence, sacrifice, and the struggle between personal aspirations and the harsh realities of a nation in turmoil.
